The Bangladeshi community in the UK is one of the youngest and fastest growing in the country. Bangladeshi women represent a significant portion and have a higher rate of economic inactivity compared to other groups. For young people, the community is notably youthful, with a large proportion of the population being under 30. This demographic trend highlights the importance of targeted support and opportunities for women and young Bangladeshis in the UK. The Bangladeshi Regeneration Council is therefore committed to improving the confidence and capability of Bangladeshi women and young people to learn, earn and lead the community for now and in the future through providing:  

• Sustainable Career: Assistance with skill and career development advice and planning. 
• Community Leadership: Resources aimed at increasing community leadership knowledge and skills. 
• Entrepreneurship: Business/Social Enterprise start up through mentoring and financial aid procurement support.  

The overarching goal is to help members of the Bangladeshi community to become more confident, skilled and empowered to support the sustainable development of the Bangladeshi community in the UK.
