Bangladeshi Community & Voluntary Sector BCVS Capacity Building
In the delivery of community led regeneration, the Council is committed to improving the competence and capability of the Bangladeshi Community & Voluntary Sector to deliver more, better value and quality community development services at local and regional level. The Sector is an important segment of the community and has the potential to generate socio economic value.
Despite the positive outlook, Bangladeshi Community Sector Organisations in the UK are also facing challenges, and its future depends on a strong representative voice, a skilled workforce and funding procurement. Using a pro bono and fee-based service, the Bangladeshi Regeneration Council aims to support Bangladeshi community sector led organisations with the following services:
- Community Leadership and Management Training.
- Access to Research and Development opportunities.
- Community Grants and Contracts Procurement.
- Community Service Planning and Design.
- Project Evaluations.
